Why won't my avatar work?
Avatars can only be a certain type of file. If one type of file doesn't work, then sorry, choose another.
My avatar is too big, I won't be able to use it will I?
Yes, when you upload or link to the image you want to use, it will re size and keep the image's aspect ratio. No need to use an image editor to shrink it.
When are you going to do [insert action here]?
There is a calendar, next to the "Members" button at the top right of your screen. You don't have to worry about checking it all the time in case we added something, events in the next five days are shown at the bottom of the forum index.
Where did my topic/post go?
It was either deleted by a moderator for being against the rules, iPBFree TOS, disused, or the purge deleted it.
You are posting in the shoutbox... why aren't you on the online list?
Because when you click a link in this forum, it is shown on the online list, with the time the link was clicked. If you click no links for 5 minutes, you disappear off the list. Using the shoutbox doesn't refresh the actual page, just the shoutbox itself, meaning the forum doesn't recognize your presence until you go elsewhere on the board.

Yup, offline members are either guests of the clan who have no affiliation with any other clan or are simply our online potentials who will eventually join the online ranks.

SPAMMING is frowned upon. If it causes a stir, and is present in any important topics, it will be deleted and could lead to warning.
PORNOGRAPHIC material is not acceptable under any circumstances. It goes against IF's TOS, and could easily get our board deleted. Anyone posting such material will get a suspension of however long the moderator chooses. No excuse. Use a PM if you need to inform somebody of this type of material
FLAMING is disallowed. If your post is deliberately offensive, you will be warned and your post will be deleted, or the offensive part edited out. If however, your post is only friendly mockery, and is clearly not meant to cause offence (by it's tone or an indication that you are joking) it does not count as flaming.
TROLLING/DISRUPTIVE POSTING is not tolerated. This includes: continually spamming, continually posting just to annoy users, harassing users, or posting information that is made up in order to get attention. Disruptive posting can include an all capital post or constant misspelling .Trolls annoy everyone, not just one particular person, and they will be dealt with swiftly and harshly with suspensions and bans.
TOPICALITY will be enforced in important areas. Obviously in the "General" section there is no topicality. But if something is clan related, it should go into "Clan". If something isn't clan related, it shouldn't.
PESTERING MODS is frowned upon. If a message bothers you, flag it using the "report" button on the offending message. If a user is generally bothering you, PM a mod or admin about it. You only need to do this once, pestering will get you a suspension.
COMPLAINT TOPICS are only allowed in the "feedback" forum. Users looking for a casual chat don't want to put up with complaints cluttering up the boards. If there is something about the board that needs changing or you're not happy with, then they belong in "feedback".
EDIT/CLOSE REQUESTS are to be made by contacting the appropriate mod, a super mod or an an admin by PM only. Requests in posts are likely to be ignored.
